Scarlet Fine Jewelry Collection The Auspicious Numbers Line of Jewelry
Mogok Rubies & Sapphires is proud to present its Auspicious Numbers Line of Jewelry,
- an exquisite and sophisticated design by the young and talented Danish designer Kira. Her work is steeped in the symbolic value of the fiery red ruby imbedded in the signs of auspicious numbers and handcrafted in 18ct gold.
Every single ruby in the jewelry is accompanied by an international Gem Certificate stating that the stone has not been heat treated to enhance the colour. We do not enhance our gemstones.
The Auspicious Number Seven is probably the most cherished lucky number in all cultures –a symbol of perfection and totality. From the 7 small dwarfs to the 7 wonders of the world, Seven has a unique auspicious meaning for many people, such as 7 skies, 7 seas, 7 days in a week, - and now you also have a chance of wearing the lucky "7" around your neck.
Ruby is the birth stone of July – the 7th month of the year, - and this simple, yet refined pendant design perfectly merges the symbolic value into one, and shall be the unique gift for any celebration during the month of July – or for any month of the year.
The Auspicious Number Eight is Beginning, Rebirth and Infinity - it is the symbol of cosmic order. For Chinese and others throughout the world the number Eight has through ages been associated with good luck and wealth. Young couples prefer to get married in August, and 8th of August if possible, car license plates with all "eights" are sold for fortunes, and telephone numbers with many "8" digits are keenly sought after. The summer Olympics in Beijing this year is scheduled to open on 8/8-08 at 8:08:08 p.m.
This passionate feeling for the number "8" is now transferred into a subtle and ultra feminine jewelry line with pendant and ear rings in 18ct gold set with natural rubies from Mogok. A unique good luck gift for all occasions of celebration.
All pendants is sold with an innovative, adjustable 45cm 18ct gold chain designed and made in Japan.
